On 4 June 2013, I co-organized together with the IES, the Global Action to Prevent War and the Left/Green group of the European Parliament a Conference at the EP in Brussels on the Implementation of the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty (see the EVENTS section  for details). In my talk I focused on the importance of the ATT as part of effective Global Governance schemes and EU-UN cooperation frameworks. ​The workshop was organised in cooperation with MEP Sabine Loesing.

I was invited to participate in the EURONEWS TV show "The Network". In this issue, I debate with two other experts the issue of diplomatic/economic vs. military approaches towards the issue of nuclear proliferation and Iran. In line with GGI's and Vesalius College's main policy line, military action should be viewed with extreme caution and diplomatic dialogue should be given a clear chance.

On 8 March 2012, I was invited by the AFET Committee of the European Parliament to brief MEPs on the Responsibility to Protect: the Just and Valid Case. Chaired by MEP Alexander Graf Lambsdorff (ALDE), my co-panelists included Professor Jennifer Welsh (Oxford), Leonardo Paz (Centro Brasileiro de Relações Internacionais, Brazil) and Vasilka Sancin, Assistant Professor of International Law, Faculty of Law of the University of Ljubljana.
